We took a trip to Guatemala City to ask the US embassy for an early pink slip appointment before our fingerprints expire. Well, it worked. They have issued us our pink slip. This is the finally appointment with the US Embassy before the Visa is issued and you go home. Our finally appointment is on the 18th, we pick up the Visa on the 21st and fly home on the 24th.
It is time to start saying good-bye to all the good friends we have made. I have posted a few pictures of the kids with their friends. Leaving will be bittersweet.

I'm so excited for you guys but I have to admit....it's kind of weird, I will very much miss you, Kylee, and Eli when I come to visit again. I know that must sound strange and don't get me wrong, I'm GLAD you guys are heading home, it's just that Casabella won't be the same with you all not being there. I think you know what I mean..this whole experience is strange, unique, and hard to explain to others. I'm looking forward to meeting Grady for the first time. I guess it will be in Colorado. Anyway, congratulations Heather. You're an incredible mom and your spirit immulates the love of Christ. Hope to see you all soon. Pat
