Christmas in Antigua

No snow, 70 degree weather, no 24 hours of "A Christmas Story" on TNT, no last minute Christmas shopping and no large family gathering; it didn't really seem like Christmas. However, after watching "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," listening to some Christmas music, presents, stockings, and goodies: it did in fact seem like Christmas. Kylee was only really hoping for something to eat in her stocking. Poor child, you would think she never gets any sweets. Eli was oblivious to the whole present scene and was happy the entire time playing with a piece of red foil wrapping paper.

We are very blessed to have Grady visiting for 2 weeks.

We hope our adoption reenters PGN in the beginning of January.

Sleeping Babies

We found out today that we are still not back into PGN (the last and most difficult stage of the Guatemalan side of the adoption process). We are going on four months now of being kicked out but we are not losing any sleep over it, as you can see by the pictures.

Hello All,

This is our first post. Thanks to Camille and Mark for letting us borrow their laptop. We wanted to start a blog so we could share pictures with our family and friends of the children while we are here in Antigua

We have really been enjoying Antigua. It is a beautiful, old, colonial town full of history, shopping and good food. This is also a real hotspot for learning Spanish, there are over 60 Spanish schools located in Antigua.

We have already been here for two months and have so many wonderful pictures. The above photos are a few of our favorites.
